A great climate, laid-back feeling and an unspoilt
location were some of the main attractions for
buying a holiday house at Parque da Floresta in the
Western Algarve for Simon Such and his family.
“We love the way of life at Parque da Floresta”
says Simon, “it is a beautiful part of the world.”
Simon and his wife Sarah bought their villa in
June 2005 and enjoy holidaying there with their
two children, Sam and Emily. While the children
spend a lot of their time in the swimming pool,
the golf course at Parque da Floresta was a
big attraction to Simon and Sarah enjoys the
pampering and massages she has at Spa Floresta.
“The location is such that it never feels crowded,
which was a big drawing card for us”, comments
Simon. “We didn’t want to go to the ‘Golden
Triangle’, which is very built up and touristy. We
liked the less pretentious and laid-back feel of the
Western Algarve instead.”
“The area also enjoys a mild climate all year
round, when we were there over Christmas
we experienced blue skies and sun with a
temperature of approximately 18 degrees Celsius
during the day which was very pleasant.
Another great thing about the resort is that
it is English-run. When anything needs to be
arranged, we have no problems communicating
as all staff speaks English, making things a lot
easier and stress-free. Whenever a job needs
doing it’s always done efficiently. For peace-ofmind
value it is very good.”
